An Online Weekend Retreat in September to Nurture Your Creative Spirit!
If you are a sensitive creative, you might feel a deep longing to express your creativity. But you may also feel stuck in actually giving voice to it. Maybe, you are a writer who is trying to give form to the story embedded in your soul. Or another kind of artist who feels unsure & frightened of revealing their vulnerable self to the world.
If you’re looking for a nurturing space to hold your energy & kindle your creativity, you might enjoy this ONLINE retreat I’m teaching at, happening this September 10–12. REGISTER HERE. More Details Below.
This is a retreat all about creativity!
It features 6 different workshops from 6 different teachers, exploring topics like:
- How to use intuitive writing to write your memoir.
- Exploring our dreams and dream symbols to nourish our creative selves (I am teaching this. More below.)
- Poetry and sacred healing.
- How to choose your next creative project.
- Settling the “fight-or-flight” reaction from our highly sensitive nervous systems as we go into the creative process.
- Releasing that which no longer serves us to move into a more creatively empowered future.
The retreat will start with an opening ceremony by my good friend Lauren Sapala (also the organizer of this event) on Friday evening. Then, there will be 3 workshops on Saturday (Sep 11) and 3 workshops on Sunday (Sept 12). The event will end with a closing ceremony on Sunday afternoon.
All workshops will be recorded and made available for streaming.
So even if you can’t make it in person, you’ll be able to watch later and still get all the juicy creative goodness from the sessions.
I am teaching a workshop called Dream Catching: Gathering Our Dreams for Creativity & Intuition.
As many of you might know, dreams and the inner world are a huge love of mine. How I’ve learnt to work and play with them is a big thread in The Empath’s Journey.
When we are a sensitive, creative person, there’s a thin line between our everyday world & the world of our night-time dreams. If we are creatively blocked, our dreams can morph into nightmares where we are running away, hounded by something menacing inside us.
But our dreams also contain veins of gold. In their stories and symbols, we can find the bedrock of our creativity & the link to our intuition.
Symbols & archetypes like the snake, the spider, the witch, and the grandmother rise up in our dreams to tell us something. In this workshop, we will explore ways to both work & play with our dream symbols and use them as creative sparks to ignite our projects.
I hope to see you there!
P.S. The timing of the event is in Pacific Time. You can attend from anywhere, but don’t forget to convert the time. Or, of course, you can watch later if you can’t make it live!
